My favourite things presents!

Welcome to the first of the monthly "10 things I love" blog! This monthly blog is just about sharing with you all the little things I love & please let me know if there's a theme you would like covered!

I'm always asked about where I find some of the children's gifts I find so I thought that would be a great place to start!

My favourite thing to do is find products for kids that are handmade or are sold by a small business. I just think it is so important to support local business and mum's & dad's making a success of their own little businesses.

I love that every single time I buy something from a small business, I could be helping the owners to put new shoes on their kids' feet, pay for a ballet lesson or sport registration fees, buy Christmas presents for their kids & so much more.

I hope that it's gives them the same warm & fuzzy feeling I get everytime someone books a photoshoot with me!'s my top 10 favourite things for kids' presents!

Click on the underlined headings to head straight to their website or facebook page.

1. George the Farmer

As you're probably aware I have a small farm that I run as well as my photography business. I absolutely love that there is somewhere I can find books and toys that my farming friends kids will love. It's also fantastic that the George the Farmer books are educational, so if your kids aren't on a farm they can help to teach about farm life and where their food comes from!

2. Anthologie Group

Anthologie is owned by my talented friend Cassie who has come up with the best little invention for mums (ahhh...I mean kids heehee!). Have you seen the "Draw A" series? Everyone mum or dad that wants some quiet time when you're having a coffee needs on of these on hand! They are so good for entertaining the kids while you get to have a chat with your friends at the coffee shop. Check them out here!

3. Teapots & Tractors

I'm seriously in love with these little skirts! I recently sent one off to a friends child for Christmas and she loved it! They are handmade with the gorgeous fabrics and trims, definitely worth checking their facebook page.

4. Pink Paddock Store

So with every gift you need to send a cute card right? I love love love what Kylie does! All her cards are her very own designs and are just gorgeous! You need to see the "Deer little twins" cute!

So many of my friends' kids have one of these farm boards. Have you seen them yet? They are amazing and built so well by some talented people in Dubbo, NSW. One of these will entertain your kids for hours...& last for years!
