What Does A Farmer Look Like? An update...

Cassie & I are four months in to the What Does A Farmer Look Like? project and could not be more excited about how it's all going!

We've interviewed and photographed farmers in New South Wales, Tasmania and Western Australia so far! These farmers have been from a range of agricultural industries from oysters to dairy sheep, lavender to cereal grain, sheep, cattle and vegetables.

There are still so many farmers we have on our list to visit, interview and photograph.

At the moment, our plan (kind of haha!) is to head to the southern half of Victoria in April, the Riverina of NSW, Western Victoria and South East SA in May, Central & Western Qld & the NT in June/July. In between all that we'll be travelling to the rest of NSW as we can!

It's been a huge but rewarding challenge so far and we can't wait until we have this book in our hot little hands! Sharing our farmers' stories and photographs with you all is going to be an amazing experience and we hope to show you just what our farmers look like. Not only in appearance, but also what their families & businesses look like. Our farmers have an absolute passion for what they do and we feel quite privileged to share that with you all!

Here are some of our farmers so far!

We are still looking for a couple of specific people though, can you help us out?

Looking for:

* Any kids who have their own little business on the farm

* Men (any age) who live and work on their own. We've had a few women who live and work on their own get in touch but no blokes as yet!

* Farmers in the Ord River Scheme

If you know any who might suit, please ask them to get it touch (or dob them in haha!) via email hello@whatdoesafarmerslooklike.com or phone Kim 0467315172 or Cassie 0412889339.
